Terms of Service for Serenity One

Effective Date: June 1, 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Serenity One (“we,” “our,” or “us”) to our clients (“you” or “customer”). By hiring Serenity One for carpentry work, you agree to the following terms.


1. Services Provided

Serenity One provides residential and commercial carpentry services including, but not limited to:

Repairs and maintenance

Custom builds and installations

Framing, trim work, decking, and renovations

The specific scope of work will be outlined in your estimate, proposal, or signed agreement.


2. Estimates & Proposals

All estimates provided are based on our current understanding of your project. Any changes in scope, materials, or site conditions may result in additional charges. We’ll always discuss and get approval for changes before proceeding.


3. Scheduling & Access

We will make every effort to start and complete your project on the scheduled dates. You agree to provide timely access to the property during work hours and inform us of any restrictions or requirements.


4. Payments

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

A deposit may be required before work begins

The balance is due upon completion

Invoices not paid within 15 days may incur late fees

We accept payments via [cash, check, credit card, or specify other methods].


5. Cancellations & Delays

You may cancel or reschedule your project with at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may result in a fee to cover prep time or material restocking. Serenity One is not responsible for delays caused by weather, supply issues, or events beyond our control.


6. Warranty

We stand behind our work. Serenity One offers a [insert duration, e.g., 1-year] workmanship warranty on completed projects. This does not cover damage due to misuse, neglect, natural wear, or work modified by others after completion.


7. Liability

8. Use of Subcontractors

We may engage trusted subcontractors to assist with your project. All work will still be managed and guaranteed by Serenity One.


9. Photos & Marketing

We may take before-and-after photos of completed work to use for our portfolio or marketing purposes. Personal information or identifying features will never be shared. Please notify us in writing if you prefer we not use images of your project.


10. Disputes & Jurisdiction

We aim to resolve all issues quickly and fairly. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution. These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of [Insert State] and any legal claims must be filed in [Insert County or Jurisdiction].
